Teachers’ Association German Western Australia
The Teachers' Association of German Western Australia , founded in 1995, is a professional organisation which meets regularly to promote the teaching and learning of German in Western Australia.
Professional development for Teachers:
• information about interesting websites with activities,
• Szene (in which we publish our news and updates too),
For students we offer services such as the DAS exam and a cultural exchange programm.
The Networkoperates according to guidelines set by
Committee positions are appointed annually and appointees are responsible for overseeing the activities and finances of the association. Our committee works on a voluntary basis.
Meeting are minuted and, if necessary, decisions made through a simple majority vote by those present at a meeting.
The Goethe - Institut Melbourne provides support to TAGWA through assistance with professional development and resources which are available to teachers in Resource Centers.
